NutriLeads to Showcase New Benicaros Precision Prebiotic Formats at Vitafoods Europe

Wageningen, the Netherlands – April 17, 2024 – NutriLeads BV will introduce additional product formats for its clinically proven precision prebiotic fiber, Benicaros®, at Vitafoods Europe from May 14-16 in Geneva, Switzerland. The company will exhibit at booth number M270 and showcase its award-winning ingredient for gut and immune health in the Vitafoods New Ingredient Zone.

NutriLeads has recently expanded its Benicaros product range to offer new options with varying concentration levels of the active ingredient (Rhamnogalacturonan-I or RG-I) and with liquid and powder variants. These purity variations are designed to cater to various application demands. At Vitafoods, NutriLeads will be offering visitors sample gummies formulated with Benicaros. The company will also showcase other prototype ideas for products designed to support immune and gut health for caregivers, athletes and the general consumer market.

NutriLeads’ team will also be on hand to discuss new research. The findings demonstrate that, even at daily servings as low as 300 mg, Benicaros consistently promotes both the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, such as Bifidobacterium spp., and the production of essential short-chain fatty acids despite variations in individual gut microbiota compositions. Benicaros exhibits lower gas production compared to standard prebiotics.
